One of the core objectives of the “Resalat Social Development Model” is to support micro and home-based businesses. The traditional craft of weaving (Karbafi) in the city of Ardakan exemplifies this mission. With deep historical roots in the region, this craft has long been practiced by many women, passed down through generations.Zahra PourAsi is one of these women. As the “leader of Social Entrepreneurship Core”, she inherited the knowledge of Karbafi from her ancestors and is now dedicated to preserving and teaching this traditional art. Through her efforts, she not only passes on the skills of weaving but also strives to complete the other links in its value chain, empowering others in the process.The documentary “Woven Dreams” portrays her journey in social entrepreneurship within the Karbafi industry, highlighting the challenges she faces and the innovations she has introduced.
